On the 30th June 2006, after almost 2 months of diplomatic and political disputes between the Kingdom of New Brittania and Confederacy of Independant States on claiming Gaia, a final solution has been placed.
In order to keep BOTH union/nations happy, Gaia has been divided into two sections, North and South Gaia.
Southern Gaia will claim the Industrial former Gaian Capital City of Fiorecitta, and two port cities called Den Havenstad and Villenueve.
They will be officially called the Kingdom of Gaia, with their capital city New Willow, which will be newly built.
THE NORTHERN SIDE:
The North of Gaia will be officially named the Republic of Gaia (Repubblica di Gaia) which will be commonly called South Gaia and will remain a part of CIS.
They will claim the cities of Klemmen, which will be their capital and Heidlburg.
2 New Cities Will be built: New Saint-Etienne will be built as a port city on next to the borderline and Romanocitta will also be built.
-----------
ALSO IN ADDITION: The "Pareti di Gugliemo Vonbekerno" will be a constructed, a wall that separates North and South Gaia to avoid any war conflict.

Treaty of the Transferral of Leadership in the Micronation of Gaia
22nd February 2006
The Gaian Caretaker Government of the Confederacy of Independent States and the newly formed Independent Government of the Micronation of Gaia, Desirous of ratifying the treaty that will give birth to the Independent Micronation of Gaia; Have agreed as follows:
Article 1
The Creator of the Micronation of Gaia, Separatist, the first President of the Confederacy of Independent states wishes to hand over power to the head of the newly formed Independent Administration of the Gaian Micronation, Nat, under the following terms.
Article 2
The Head of the Independent Administration of Gaia accepts the CIS Constitution; it’s current leadership, the democratic process that chooses all subsequent leaders and all laws created as a result of the Government System laid out within the CIS Constitution.
Article 3
The Head of the Independent Gaian Administration accepts Gaia’s binding membership in the CIS and does everything in their power to disallow any internal or external acts, which would see the removal of Gaia from the CIS.
Article 4
In the event of the current signing Head of the Independent Gaian Administration standing down from leadership, power is returned to the CIS Administration to choose another Gaian in the previous leader’s place under the terms of this Treaty.
Article 5

MAY I DRAW YOUR ATTENTION TO ARTICLES 4& 5, SO I DONT THINK THIS CAN GO AHEAD- the treaty says so

it doesnot say that the new leader has to sign it, it was already inplace when you came to power, so on that issue, you are powerless.

Indeed. Tom is correct. I seem to recall us having this discussion with Sep before.
It doesn't matter if you signed it or not, it's a stipulation that comes attached to Gaia.

It seems to me you are equally powerless to stop Hieus decision, which if you bothered to look, is also the decision of a referendum

i see no point in this... so the northern side of gaia is a totally different country and the south is just another section of new brittannia, if you wanted another province just make one...

for f**k sake, the treaty was made by Sep when he founded Gaia, no-one has OFFICIALLY signed it.
Few months ago, there was massive conflict between who f**king owns it.
Now do you want f**king war? Gaian Land Doesn't. Dividing Gaia is the only d**n f**king way to stop all of this F U C K I N G Bullnuts from happening.
But seems like some people want a war, and they are not going to get it!
END OF CONVERSATION.
